Terms of Use

Please review these terms thoroughly before accessing or using SOREL’s website or mobile applications. They contain a binding arbitration provision, meaning most disputes between you and SOREL must be resolved individually through arbitration rather than in court, and you waive the right to participate in class actions or jury trials. Arbitration differs from court proceedings and may limit discovery and appeal options.

SOREL Corporation, a subsidiary of Columbia Sportswear Company and affiliate of Columbia Brands USA, LLC, along with its subsidiaries and affiliates (“SOREL”), operates the websites and mobile applications (collectively, the “Sites”) under these Site Terms. By visiting the Sites, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to comply with these terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree or lack authority to accept these terms, you may not use the Sites.

These terms govern your use of the Sites and do not replace any separate agreements you may have with SOREL regarding products or services. If accessing the Sites on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on its behalf, and the organization will indemnify SOREL for any violations. Any contests, promotions, or rewards on the Sites are subject to separate rules incorporated into these terms by reference.

SOREL may update these Site Terms or related policies at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately upon posting and apply to all subsequent use. Continued use after updates indicates acceptance. Users are encouraged to check the Site Terms regularly and must stop using the Sites if they do not agree with updates.

Privacy and Mobile Services
SOREL’s Privacy Policy, incorporated here by reference, explains how personal information is collected, used, and shared. Users may be asked to provide a phone number to create an account, access certain features, or receive notifications. Mobile Services may include SMS, MMS, or other updates about orders, promotions, or products. Standard messaging and data rates may apply. Participation is voluntary, and users may reply “STOP” to opt out.

Intellectual Property
All content on the Sites, including logos, graphics, text, and software (“Site Materials”), is owned by SOREL or its licensors and protected under U.S. and international law. Users are granted a limited, non-commercial license to view, print, or copy materials for personal use only. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited. SOREL may revoke this license at its discretion.

User Conduct and Content
Users may submit reviews, comments, or other content (“User Content”) but are responsible for ensuring it is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe on third-party rights. SOREL is not liable for User Content and may remove or edit submissions at its discretion. By providing content, you grant SOREL a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use it on the Sites.

Third-Party Content and Links
The Sites may contain links to third-party content or products. SOREL does not control or endorse third-party materials and is not responsible for any transactions, claims, or losses related to them.

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Disputes should first be submitted to SOREL in writing for informal resolution. If unresolved within thirty days, most disputes (excluding certain intellectual property claims or small claims) proceed to binding arbitration under AAA rules. Arbitration is individual-only; class or representative claims are prohibited. Claims generally must be filed within one year. Users may opt out of arbitration within thirty days of acceptance by sending certified mail to SOREL.

Limitation of Liability
SOREL is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the Sites, User Content, or third-party content, except in cases of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.

Governing Law and Termination
These terms are governed by Oregon law. SOREL may terminate access at any time without notice. Circumstances beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters or system failures, may temporarily suspend obligations.

By using the Sites, you confirm that you understand and accept these terms, including provisions related to intellectual property, user content, arbitration, and limitations of liability.
